No community can respond to a catastrophic occurrence alone. Whether an act of Nature or Man, disasters require aid from experts in the field of safety and rescue.
The Safety and Technical Rescue Association (SATRA) is a national, non-profit association of experienced, highly trained emergency responders, such as firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and environmental hazard experts, who are prepared to respond at a moment’s notice to meet any disaster need, both domestically and internationally. SATRA trains and certifies emergency response personnel and coordinates response teams for specific needs. SATRA also provides community disaster preparedness education for civic groups and schools.
Members join the association not only to learn to be the best in the field, but to team up with the best to meet community crises successfully. |
